Delete your Halo account

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

  1. Open Halo and tap your profile button (top right of Overview).
  2. Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm with Delete forever.

Option 2: by email (if you no longer have the app)

Email support@halobudget.me from the email address of your Halo account, with the subject “Delete my Halo account”. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Everything: your sign-in (email and password), your name, your plan (income, budget, savings goal, guardrail), and all your accounts, categories and transactions. Data on your phone is erased too when you delete from the app.

What is kept

Nothing. We do not keep any of your data after deletion. (Our email provider may keep delivery logs of the codes we emailed you for up to 30 days.)
